Why Our Pub is Great

The Half Moon is a grand old inn located in the charming Dorset town of Sherborne. Stay with us or just pop in for a lovely pub meal. We have 13 cosy ensuite rooms, some of which overlook Sherborne Cathedral. Each room has a shower or bath, a flatscreen TV, free WiFi, and tea and coffee making facilities. Breakfast is available at a small additional cost, but we promise, it is worth every penny.

Just to make your stay that little bit more special, our interiors boast stunning features such as Victorian-style tiled floors, dark wood furniture, gentle lighting, and carefully chosen furnishings. We want to ensure that you get a warm and friendly welcome followed by an impressive service. Not only are our interiors spectacular, we also have a patio so if you’re lucky with the weather, you can enjoy a drink and a meal in the sun. However, if you fancy a bite to eat outside on a chillier day, we wont judge you!
